The 1st "Sino-Korean Cancer Prevention and Treatment Forum" was successfully held from January 23 to 24 at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital, during which the hospital reached multiple cooperation intentions with the National Cancer Center, Republic of Korea. On January 23, immersive disciplinary exchanges and collaborative innovation expanded, focusing on gastric surgery, heavy ion treatment, breast cancer, pathology and biobank.
After on-site tours of Heavy Ion Hospital, Molecular Pathology Center, Gastric Surgery Department, Experiment & Research Lab, Skills-up Training Center and Biobank on January 24, the 1st "Sino-Korean Cancer Prevention and Treatment Forum" kicked off, which provided an open platform for academic dialogues covering latest research findings, clinical diagnosis and treatment experiences and future development directions. The 1st "Sino-Korean Cancer Prevention and Treatment Forum" brought together experts and scholars to foster academic exchanges and mutual learning between China and Korea, the forum also featured the launch of new paradigms for bilateral cooperation including personnel visits, joint research, clinical trials, data sharing, and academic conferences.
